“The email of the species is deadlier than the mail.”

It’s just one of Stephen Fry’s innumerable witticisms.

Although I guess you could say that it pronounces the death of postal mail. Which, from a marketing perspective, is not entirely true. There’s a great place for direct mail in targeted marketing.
